Super Patch Diet

What to Eat While Using the Super Patch For Quick Weight Loss

  • Day 1: Apply your patch in the morning. Eat sensibly don’t start your diet yet. But do get your diet food organized for the next week.
  • Day 2: Start your diet and continue on this easy, user friendly diet for 4-12 weeks.

At a glance – Foods You CAN eat:
Potatoes & sweet potatoes – mash with rice milk or bake.  All types of vegetables. All fruit except avocado and coconuts. Steak, chicken or fish or 1 free range egg per day. Real yogurt. Eat raw or boil, grill, bake, fry – Dry cook in non-stick pan or use baking paper or cook in vegetable stock (not Oxo cubes).
One slice sourdough bread per day that has no oil or sugar added. Purified water, tea, coffee, and any stevia flavoured soda water.

At a glance – Foods you CANT eat:
Anything with fat or sugar added. Keep away from pre-packaged foods. Alcohol.
Do not cook in fat, oil, butter or lard. Do not add oil (its 100% fat) to anything.
No salad dressings with oil added – read labels.  No sugar laden sodas like coca cola, again read labels.
No nuts, seeds, fast foods, chips, snacks cooked in oil, pretend meat/cheese-vegan food, all dairy – cow’s milk, butter, cream, cheese, ice cream.
No Oily fish. No biscuits, cakes, sweets or cereal even if they say they are fat free.


Meals Examples:

Breakfast: 1 slice sourdough toast topped with fried [on baking paper] tomatoes, onions and mushrooms
Or 1 slice sour dough toast with tomatoes and 1 hardboiled or poached egg.
Or stew one large apple and add cinnamon and stevia, also 1 toast with tomatoes

Lunch: One piece steamed chicken with large salad.
Or I large potato boiled and mashed with rice milk, plus small tin tuna in water, and carrots.
Or one cup cooked rice with steamed vegetables, stir fry with soy sauce and any spices.
Or very large bowl vegetable soup, preferably homemade with toast.

Dinner: One small steak grilled, with onions and large salad.
Or grilled piece of fish with large salad.
Or stir fried chicken and vegetables and spices.
Or large mashed potato with steamed carrots, zucchini, beans and broccoli.
Or roast on baking paper; add ½ cup vegetable stock and seasoning – pumpkin, potato, and sweet potato. Also steamed peas and carrots and oil free gravy.
Roast at 150 deg.c for 90 minutes, crispy skin.

Below is a copy of what I read in Pounds and Inches regarding what to eat while using HCG:

THE DIET

Breakfast:Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or Stevia may be used.
Lunch:1. 100 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed from the bird.2. One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.3. One breadstick (grissino) or one Melba toast.4. An apple or a handful of strawberries or one-half grapefruit.
Dinner :The same four choices as lunch.

Dr. Simeons adds: 

The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc., may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter or dressing. Tea, coffee, plain water, or mineral water are the only drinks allowed, but they may be taken in any quantity and at all times. In fact, the patient should drink about 2 liters of these fluids per day. Many patients are afraid to drink so much because they fear that this may make them retain more water. This is a wrong notion as the body is more inclined to store water when the intake falls below its normal requirements.

The above is all taken into account after a fat loading phase (phase 1 or p1) of two days. Dr. Simeons suggests eating as much fat-laden food as possible in order to prime the release of fat. It stands to reason, in my opinion, that the fat you place in your body from day-to-day is the fat that will be burned, first. With a low-fat diet, the body obviously start to release old and un-needed fat.  On the Super Patch, I lost fat where I had last gained it. On the other hand, fasting without HCG or the Super Patch caused me to lose mostly collagen, water, and fat around my bones (knuckles, ankles and wrists) and from my chest. My conclusion based on my own experience was that it is NOT that low calorie diet that caused the proper fat loss. Only with the Super Patch and HCG protocol did I lose fat from truly fatty places of my body. Starving caused me to appear gaunt, frail and sickly. With the Super Patch, I personally look quite healthy!

Eating on HCG protocol

I choose what I feel is best for me and eat what I will enjoy. I usually drink only coffee with almond milk in the morning and I have a snack such as a fruit  around noon. Often I only eat 1 full meal at dinner with the family. I will cook steak and have a salad with some low fat dressing or none at all. I’ve made a fresh apple variant of South African Bobotie that my kids love.

We regularly eat cut apples cooked in a sauce pan. I only add cinnamon and salt (not sugar or splenda) and we all love it. Even though Dr. Simeon’s did not advise using whole eggs, we have made Korean Bibimbap. We order fajitas when out to eat at mexican restaurants. Though the above seems REALLY boring to some, we choose not to think a whole lot about food.

When we are out at a fast food place, I try to make a meal around 250 or 300 calories, according to their provided nutrition information. I might eat the inside of a taco (without cheese) or a side salad with a little grilled chicken. I’m trying to move my old stored fat OUT of my body, so my goal is to not put any new fat in, so I choose low-fat options.

If I happen to have something that is “bad”, I drink a bunch of extra water.

This has happened when I ordered a coffee with creamer. Some creamer is sweetened and full fat, others are not. I didn’t specify and ended up drinking a big LOADED sweet coffee for a night shift. I don’t know if it was the coffee that kept me awake or the constant running to the bathroom! I didn’t weigh until about 30 hours after my coffee, which was 48 hours after my last weigh in.

I had still lost 4 lbs!

The only problem was: The extra sugar primed my brain for sugar. And I craved it again for a day or so. #TheStruggleIsReal

Packing Lunch for A Super Patch User

A recent day wherein 2 lbs were lost:

Chocolate protein shake with around 240 calories and 20 grams of protein.
2 organic Brown rice cakes – each cake has 25 calories and 0 fat or protein
1 lite mozzarella string cheese stick – 50 calories, 6 grams protein
1 pkg (2 oz) deli meat- 90 calories 8 grams of protein and 5 g of fat
1 apple and 1 Peach
1 Cup of coffee with vanilla almond milk as creamer
½ can beefy vegetable soup. 1 cup. About 120 calories, 6 grams protein and a few grams of fat.

The food was a little over 500 calories but this is a sample of what I threw together in a lunchbag for my daughter for a day of activity and I’m not sure she even felt hungry enough to eat the peach. She gave a few bites of rice cake to the dog. We LIKE the above foods and they are foods we normally eat. I do not eat gluten, so I substitute the rice cake for Dr. Simeon’s suggested melba toast or grissini. The lunch meat I bought is individually packed, so it is a convenience food, as was the ready-to-eat soup. The most attention was given to refilling a water bottle throughout the day, so I estimate about a gallon of water was taken in that day.

The next day, two pounds of fat were gone forever!
